Bobbi Brown Beauty Rules book review

As some of you may know; recently Bobbi Brown came out with a new book called Beauty Rules. If you're a follower of my blog you know that i purchased her previous book; and that i am a fan of Bobbi Brown as a makeup artist; a company; and an author. Her first book was so helpful, i was able to learn new tricks and tips that truly helped me become better at applying makeup. Since the other book i purchased was a hit, i decided to get this one as well. Its a great book, but one thing i do have to warn you guys is that its geared more towards teens - 20's.

This is because it talks alot about all the skin problems we encounter as young adults and how to cover them up/look better and etc.
Not only does it give you step by step pictures and instructions; but it also has TONS of tricks that she uses on her clients to get that flawless, glowing, natural look that she is known for. This book teaches you age appropriate makeup for almost every age.

I personally love this book because im still at the age where my skin isnt perfect, so if i can do little things here and there to make it look better im all for it. I also bought this book because most of the makeup i do is for proms and birthdays; and alot of the girls are younger girls so this book really is handy to me. I for sure recommend getting it. Even if you are older, it is still worth the buy because ultimately the tips in here are universal and dont just go for one skin type or age. The book is sold at Bobbi Brown counters everywhere; and maybe also sold in bookstores such as boarders etc.

Bobbi Brown Makeup Mannual!!

I've been up and down boarders and other book stores looking for an awesome makeup book but i hadn't found anything worth buying that had any new info for me. While i was at Macy's i stopped by the Bobbi brown counter since I'm always all up in macs butt; i decided to swing by Bobbi instead. I'M SO GLAD I DID!! i found this baby....

After flipping through it for a couple minutes; i HAD to have it. If you want to know about makeup but don't know where to begin; or just want to learn more; THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU.

It has everything from; how to sanitize your makeup; what should be in your kit; makeup looks; how to pick foundations; makeup for different skin tones and ages; brush breakdowns; ETC. This book is amazing and only 33 dollars!! THIS IS A MUST BUY IF YOU WANT TO EXPAND YOUR MAKEUP KNOWLEDGE! You don't need to be a makeup artist to appreciate and want to learn about makeup; you just have to love it. I highly recommend this book!!
